Each year Winthrop High School sets aside this important time for conversation pertaining to curricula, academic progress, and future success within the classroom. As you may be aware, Parent/Teacher conferences will be held Wednesday, November 18th and Thursday, November 19th from 4:00-7:30 p.m. I encourage parents/guardians to make an appointment to meet with your students teachers. Parents are encouraged to call the guidance or the main office between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to schedule a time for these important conversations. You may call 377-2228 ext. 305 or 301 during those times. We, again look forward to seeing you on the evening of November 18th or 19th.
Winthrop High School, as well as Monmouth Academy, recently received notice that our Football Team has won the 2015 Sportsmanship Award. For anyone who has ever attended our Athletic Information Night it has been made clear that Winthrop High School administration and staff consider this honor to be truly reflective our our expectations and distinguishes our school from others. We are proud of our athletes as this commendation is representative of the ambassadorship, sportsmanship and fair play. Below is the email from Mr. Bickford:
